Global Address book -> LDAP access
Hello all,

We are using Office 365 Business Premium.

We would like to use the Exchange Global Address List (GAL) as a phone directory for our Cisco SPA phones, To achieve this, we need to access the GAL using LDAP, is this possible? If it is; hurray! But how do i achieve this?

If not, can i create a LDAP address book in any other way? Preferably using Sharepoint?

thanks in advance!

Azure doesn't provide an LDAP endpoint to use the way most people would do this is use DirSync and then use the LDAP endpoint on the Onprem/hosted server http://blogs.msdn.com/b/brunoterkaly/archive/2014/07/22/question-can-azure-active-directory-run-directory-access-queries-on-ldap-secure-ldap.aspx

I don't think there is an LDAP Address book format, LDAP is a protocol that you use to query an LDAP directory/endpoint so you would need Active Directory or OpenLdap should work. Eg you could create an application using the GraphApi (or even Exchange Web Services) to keep and OpenLDAP server in sync but that's probably not a great solution.
